CFA will help you build a career in corporate finance and investment banking. PhD can take around 5 years to complete after your graduate degree.

If you’re already doing your Bachelor’s degree in business, I recommend that you go for the CFA certification first as it offers scope at both the corporate and academic levels.

From your current position, you can complete your CFA faster than your PhD and gain essential experience for your career goals. Most professors need to have corporate or business experience before they are hired by universities.

My cousin sister is also in Singapore and is preparing for CFA along with her business degree.
