I received worker’s comp for most of ‘07. Can I use a 1040ez this year even though I filed a 1040A last yr?

I started modified (light duty) so I did earn taxable income. I don’t have much else to claim. I had my student loans on forbearance so I didn’t pay any interest. Will I have to use a 1040a again since that’s what I used last year (would rather not pay for turbotax)?

The answers are in the instructions to the 1040EZ and 1040A forms.

The fact that you filed a 1040A last year, in itself, does not prevent you from filing a 1040EZ this year.
