So many mothers today do not have a college education. For whatever reason – their family had no money to pay for college, they chose not to go, they had a baby at an early age, and these reasons prevented some mothers from getting a college education. Looking in hindsight, many of these mothers are regretting their decision not to go. Fortunately, mothers can choose to go to college today.

Employers prefer their employees to have a degree. This actually shows them that you are dedicated to making a better life for yourself. Your resume will be placed in the “interview” pile instead of the “no” pile. It is up to you to sell yourself in the interview.
Once you land a job, guaranteed it will be a higher paying job than you ever had. Then as long as you are doing your job well, employers will come to you and offer more projects and other opportunities to show your skills. By accepting these projects and opportunities, you are showing your boss your dedication. When it comes time to get a raise, your boss will remember what you do for the company. You may be able to ask to try to work in another department if you are interested. You may be the one asked to travel and give presentations to other companies and they will remember you. The more people you know the more opportunities will come your way. This does not mean other job opportunities, but if you want to go on vacation, you may meet someone that can offer you some huge deal…you never know…it is all in who you meet.
