Air National Guard or Air Force Reserves? GI Bill?
I got out of the active Air Force about 6 months ago after 4 years of service. I’m considering doing it part-time. I can’t seem to find an unbiased comparison of the two. I got the college loan repayment in active service, so now I want the GI Bill. I want the best education benefits. I live in Massachusetts and their ANG pays 100% tuition through a PhD which is awesome, but I’m wondering about the GI Bill. Any advice about education benefits or anything would be great. Thank you.
I believe this is new, but if you reenlist, you can get the GI Bill after having the college loan repayment plan. I’m almost positive, but I’ll be sure to investigate before I sign anything.
If you got college loan repayment, you do not qualify for the Montgomery GI Bill.
