Can you help me with my financial Problems?
I am a 20 year old college student. I currently are in some pretty good debt not including college loans. I have 2500 in Credit Card Debt, and i owe 850 to a bank for overdrafts. I am so far in the hole right now. I am currently bringing home around 500 a month, and my car payment is 185 and my insurance is 150 a month. Does anyone know where i can get a consolidation loan or a way to improve my finances. I am without parental help, and it would be hard to get a co-signer. Please give serious answers only. Thanks
You are young and need to bring in more money by getting extra jobs, sell some stuff to begin paying off your debt. Get Dave Ramsey’s book “Total Money Makeover”. It helped me and I paid off 17,000 of debt in one year and I am a single mom with two teenagers. It is no-nonsense, easy to read and follow help book. Stop using any type of credit NOW. Start an emergency fund, then begin with the bank overdrafts, because you will not be able to get a bank account with that hanging over you. You have to change your behavior, not cover up the symptoms by consolidating the debt. Good luck, you can do it!!!
