my enrollment can’t be processed without loan nor can my loan be processed without me being enrolled?
my college needs a financial statement which would come from the student loan. however i learned yesterday that i need to be enrolled before i can get the loan. does anyone know what would be best to do?
This would be highly unusual, if you understood both parties properly. Usually you enroll in classes, then you have a period of time in which to pay for the semester. After that time period has lapsed, you would be dropped from classes if you haven’t paid (or don’t have a promise from the loan company) to pay for the semester. I’ve never heard of a school requiring you to have proof of payment before allowing you to enroll, unless you are enrolling late and the grace period is already over.
The ones to fix this with would be the school. The loan company will never give you a loan without proof that you are, in fact, enrolled as a student. If your financial aid office isn’t making any sense on this, see if your advisor can help you.
