Taking a free ride…or taking out loans?

Where would you rather attend if Graduate school is a definite…. your interested in a career with department of State in Public diplomacy, and service as a Marine Officer?

1- A tier 4 college that is part of public university and earn a B.Tech degree for FREE….but the student body is very immature, poor administration, mostly adjunct professors, studying in a major which you have no interest (job specific focused education), poor preparation for graduate study

or

2- A slightly higher ranked National University, which would require you to take out 20,000+ in loans…more adult student body, traditional degree (B.S.), course of study which interest you, pride in your school and education. Efficient preparation for graduate study

First of all both colleges offer “traditional degrees.” I don’t know what you mean. If the second colege is, as you said, a slightly higher ranked National University, I’d still go with the first one. It doesn’t virtually matter what college is that you attend(ed). It has to be accredited. As long as you have graduated with grades that are up to par with the elite graduate schools, you still have good chances. Is it 20,000+ in loans a year?
