How do I apply to college when I got my high school diploma through Faulkner college?
I dropped out of high school the last part of my Senior year and later attended Faulkner Community College’s Adult Education program to receive my Alabama High School Diploma.
Make no mistake, this is not a GED. It is the same thing as a regular high school diploma just without my high school’s name on it. All i received when I completed the courses was the decorative high school diploma in the plastic casing.
I’m in the process of wanting to apply for scholarships, grants, and colleges that require transcripts and want to know what high school I graduated from. My question is how do I go about this with the way I acquired my diploma? Has anyone been through this process or perhaps is a school counselor or something?
Did the college notify my high school of my receiving the diploma and it would show up on my transcripts or what?
Sorry kinda long THANKS! =D
If you took classes through Faulkner, you can get transcripts from them. Call them up and request them (you may need to do this in writing). You might need them from your old high school as well, but they will not say you graduated, since you didn’t graduate from there – the Faulkner ones will.
