Nursery Education Grant?
my son is already receiving the 2 1/2 hr a day education grant at his nursery and i pay the difference for the hours he attends, but i am wanting him to attend a local kindergarten to get him ready for school. I signed the form at his nursery back in april may time for his free hours and im now just confused about him attending the kindergarten – will he loose his free hrs there due to it being half way through the term? Ie the grants run from april till aug i think and if he starts in june/july will this mean hell not qualify for the grant at the kindergarten?? I dont understand how they will work it?
I would discuss the problem with the citizen advise bureau.
