Grants and student loans are no age limit. Grants (money that you do not have to pay) are generally based on income, the lowest income get money first, then on until funds are exhausted. Student loans can also be a function of income so that you will not excluded from age but may be too much or high income, you may get less because of your income level. scholarships are your best bet. It There currently are many scholarships available for seniors / students who return as well as some Internet searches for these first before looking into loans. The scholarships are generally provided by private entities can not be estimated, however, limited entity corresponding (age, sex, race, affililation group, the employer, the type of jurisdiction, etc..) If you plan to attend a specific school, you can also talk to their purse & Services Funding for advice on this. Note that the financial aid department of a school is often as loans and grants then ask if there is a separate scholarship office. Avoid Student loans, if possible, or at least take only what you absolutely need. These loans you eat it raw when it comes time to repay. Plan for repayment of 3X what you get out, and you can not under any circumstances, declare backruptcy on student loans (they are). You'd better take a second mortgage loans to students.
