Scholarships? and Grants?
Hello All…
I am asking for an websites that will give access to scholarships or grants…I know there are “special scholarships” out there…like ones for left handed people, ones for minority people, and ones for people with certain ailments…(I have Sickle Cell)…where are they at…you can’t just google them and wha la!!! Where are these scholarships?…Thankx to all for answering! …also I am not currently in school but seriously looking for the right one now…I can still apply…right?
If I plan on moving away can I use this money for school and housing (an apt) are there financial gifts (not loans) that don’t have to be allocated strictly toward school itself…if I move for my education then paying for the roof over my head is included…you know what I mean?…
All financial aid starts by filling out a FAFSA, the free application for fedral student aid. You can get grants (don’t have to pay back) and low interest loans from the government using this. In addition to that, contacting the financial aid office of the school that you are considering is a great thing to do. Often times, they have scholarship listings that you can search through. Also check where you work, and any foundations related to the characteristics of the “special scholarships” that you mention. Don’t (repeat, DO NOT) pay any money to access some service that will claim to get you scholarship money.
