Where do I find grants for education initiatives for low income community schools?
I am a science teacher who needs laptops for students in our science classrooms. Computers would allow computer simulations, online tutorials, online assessment with immediate feedback. We need a new way of teaching students with the goal of decreasing the science achievement gap.

Check out the NEA Foundation grants. They fund multiple projects throughout the year. The grant writing process if fairly painless. Also – check out www.teacherwishlist.com. It allows you to create a wish list and people donate gifts.
