Do I already need to pay my student loans from the US if I am continuing my education in Europe?

I’m a US citizen and a student at an American university. I’m in my third year in college, just three semesters away from graduating. I’ve collected some student loans through filling out FAFSA over the past few years and I will have to pay them 6 months after I stop being a student.

I’ve been planning to move to Europe after graduation anyway (I have dual citizenship), but now I’m considering leaving this summer and finishing school there at a University that will accept most of my credits as transfer credits.

Now the big question, is there a way to prove to the “student loan people” that I’m still a student, and since I’ll still be a student (though not in the US) will they let me wait on paying my loans?

If you want to continue your education abroad without the wrry of paying, i would contact each loan agency and discuss how your planning to go study abroad. Worse cause you show them a schedual of your soon to be class’s. most loan people are pretty lax about that.
