Request for letter from tutor?

As I am going to apply a gov. education loan, I need a statement from my college stating that I am the student of the college in XX course, but i don’t know how to write a formal letter about my request. Anyone can help, please.

I would think that you should be able to go to the Registrar’s office and have them make a form letter stating you are in such or so class and then you’d have it. It seems like that should be something they do on a regular basis.

However, if you want to write a letter, I’d do something like this.
“To whom it may concern:

I am intending to apply for a scholarship with (whatever the official title of yours is). As part of the application process, I need an official statement from the (college/university) recognizing that I am enrolled in (whatever class — and if it is offered more than once include the section). I would appreciate receiving this letter or receipt of such as soon as possible (some schools will require to send directly to the scholarship).

If need be, please send this letter of acknowledgment to (address of scholarship) and a receipt of the sending to (your address).

Thank you,
(your name)
