Veteran paying for college education.?
Alright So I am an Army Veteran. I was wounded overseas awarding me the purple heart. I am now in the national guard beginning school again. I am currently utilizing my Federal Tuition Assistance and GI Bill, but you vets know that just doesn’t cut it. I would just like to know the types of scholarships and grants that may be available to me as a veteran. I’m sure there are scholarships/grants out there for a purple heart as well. I’m just sitting here pinching pennies..not even pinching… I have these pennies in head locks trying to finance this semester of school. So if there are other veterans around that know of anything that may be beneficial to me. Or if you aren’t a veteran but you know something please help me out.

There a few states that offer vet free tuition. You should check out the department of education of your home state. I also recommend going on the military.com to search for additional funds.
