Higher Education Grant/Loan? Help me Please?
I am going to the London College of Communication to do a 1 year Foundation Diploma this September so I can then apply for the BA after the 1 year. I am 20yo.
I am finding out although I am leaving home and moving to London and have £1400 tuition fees and over £4000 rental costs that because it is a Foundation Diploma and not a 2 year Foundation Degree I am eligible for NO LOANs or Grants etc?
Please this is so scary can you help me out?? I have done my A Levels however not ever claimed a Higher Education Grant. Please is there something I can do is there a loan for me as finding work in the Uk is so impossible right now.

Isnt a government maintenance grant or loan available directgov.co.uk themselves are useless and often state different answers
I’m sure that if you get in touch with your desired univeristy there are people on site, specialists, who can help point you in the right direction, or even the uni itself can provide some sort of funding (which may be loan-based but is always a good option because monthly repayments are low with generally no interest required)
