STUDENT FINANCE PAYMENT BLOCKED!!!!!!?
hello frens,
I am currently studying MSci Theoretical Physics with Mathematics Hons at the University of Lancaster. I had applied for maximum amount student loan + maintainence loan+ any other grants available to be based on my parents income. I had applied at around the end of August so it took a long time to process , but finally there was an update on my student finance account. it said Approved.
But today when i checked MY PAYMENTS.
it says the following :
YEAR 2009/10
Installment First
date 28/09/2009
product Student Support Loan
payee Student
Amount £1289.64
METHOD Direct Credit
STATUS Blocked??????????????
BLOCKED???????? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN ?
ITS THE SAME WITH MY TUTION FEES BUT THE DATES ARE NOT UNTIL THE FEBRUARY AND MAY OF 2010. IT SAYS BLOCKED FOR THESE AS WELL.
I KNOW I AM ELIGIBLE BASED ON MY PARENTS INCOME, SO WHY?>
I AM KINDA WORRIED, WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?
FRENS ANY ADVICE????????????
Maybe you could call the financial aid office?
