The number of adults returning to college and/or technical schools is increasing like never before. This is partly due to the slumping economy and the fact that there is so much grant money for moms available to help us go back to school.

A lot of people are stuck in low-paying, dead-end jobs with no real way to ever make any more money. Sure, you might get a measly quarter or dollar raise every now and then but at the same time everything gets more expensive. So, really you do not make any more money but may pay more in taxes.

The need for more money and a better life is the driving force for so many adults going back to school. Things are not getting cheaper and, in fact, they are getting more expensive all the time, and if you are a mom like me, you know how expensive stuff for the kids can be. Just getting them ready for school can set you back.

If you are truly ready to make a change in your life, then going back to school can be the answer. The government has many different grants available for those who qualify. Just this year the Pell grant was increased to over $5000. But the Pell grant is not the only grant given out. There is also the SMARTS, TEACH, and the FSEOG. And these are only the ones that come directly from the government. There are also scholarships and grants from non-profit groups, businesses, and schools themselves.

Getting free money to pay for your schooling is so much better than having those student loans looming overhead the day you graduate, so get creative and do your research to find grant money for moms to help pay for your schooling.

You can also win a $10,000 scholarship just for entering here.
