Did anyone hear that if you owe money on a student loan you will not be getting the economic stimulus check?
A friend told me they saw that detail online. I looked around but couldn’t find that anywhere. Just wondering if anyone else knows anything about the IRS Economic Stimulus Checks and if there are rules like that attached to it.
If your loan has defaulted since Novemeber than you will not receive a stimulus check…it will be offset and applied to your debt….(only if it was a federal loan…this does not apply to any private loans.) if you are just delinquent than you will receive your rebate check….
