Is this thing about free government grants really true?
I found this on career builders. How does this sound to you all? I called and they said I had to pay $199 to register:
$700. to $800,000 in FREE Cash Grants/Programs -2008!
Government Grants for:
* LIVING EXPENSES
* SCHOOL
* BUSINESS
* HOUSING
Approximately $49 billion unclaimed in 2007!
Requirements:
All U.S. citizens and residents can apply and may be eligible to receive U.S. Federal Government, State Government and Private Foundation-funded grants and loans.
Grant Money possible to help buy a new home, repair your home, rent, mortgage payments, utility bills, purchase a new car, groceries, childcare, fuel, general living expenses, academic tutoring, clothing, school supplies, housing assistance, legal services, summer camp, debts, music lessons, art lessons, any extracurricular activities, pay bills for senior citizens, real estate taxes, medical expenses,
preschool children and nursery school education, private, primary and secondary school.
Yes, there are free government grants out there, but I do not recommend spending the $199 for the CD to locate them. It costs nothing to locate them since the government offers free searches or listings. All you would need to do is go to the official government website which ends in gov. The housing, living expenses, medical expenses, and school grants are based on income. There is help from HUD for those with subprime mortgages. I will include some links below which should help. All it takes is a lot of paperwork to get them. Good luck!
