Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program?
I just graduated and will teach this August in a low income school as a special education teacher. I know about the loan forgiveness program, but am wondering if I can get that amount ($17,500) deferred somehow while I am working on the 5 year time? I heard a teacher talking about some form he fills out each year and he gets his loans deferred. Anyone know of this? I have 31,500 total so would I just pay on the remaining amount?
