Private loans for school. Are there any good websites offering up info on how to proceed?

I’m looking to go back to school in the Fall. It has been awhile. Only after I’m matriculated will I be eligible for govt and school loans, the first semester I am on my own.
Support myself, no co-signer, credit score above 700.
I figure I’d try the major banks first, but if I don’t get what I want I’d look elsewhere, even if it meant accepting a higher interest rate (would be worth it to me).
Looking for loan to cover school and some living expenses (so I could go to school full-time vs part-time).
Any good advise on how to proceed?
Any good websites or forum boards covering this topic?
Any advisor one could hire, just like they have application consultans one can hire?
Thanks! This website is great.

You can try any of the following sources to finance your school education:

1. Financial Aid – Just about every school offers some kind of financial aid. Phillips Exeter, Groton and St. Paul’s are some of the top prep schools in the vanguard of offering a ‘free’ education to qualified applicants from families with less than $75,000 income.
2. Scholarships – This is a very good source if you are academically strong.
3. Private Student Loans
