Should I go for my lpn or straight for my RN?

I have just finished job corp with my C.N.A. and am moving back home. I was going to move back in with my cousin since I lived with her since my mom passed away but her kids steal everything from me . I am going back to school to a community college for the lpn program? They have it where I can do my lpn for one year then get my RN I can also go to a community college away from my house and stay on campus I just dont wanna take out any loans or anything I already owe 5,000 from when I went out of state and that is affecting my credit. My friend told me I can come live with her and go to skool but I dont know what to do can someone please give me a few suggestions on what to do with myself…….

It depends on several factors. You can go for the LPN, then get a job sooner and get practical experience. It may be easier to get good grades later in RN school. You may ask for letters of reference from people that you work for before you graduate as an RN, and have an inside line on a good job. If you go for RN, It will take longer, cost more and you will not have a job networking base to draw on.
