If I default on my student loans how do I go to school?
Will they leave me behind and just defer payment? Will I make payments to go? Can I get more financial aid?
When you default are no longer able to defer payments (because you've already deferred to the extent you are allowed – The most often). While you are in default, you can get help. Payments will not always get you out of default. They have some rehab loan programs, but it takes time. 6-9 months reasonable payments and loans to make your loan rehabilitated (leave the default). If they garnish your paychecks (which they have usually when you go in default), then you would have to make additional payments WILLING.
