I need a private student loan, is there any way to find one without needed to have great credit and no cosign?
I live with my parents, but they are barely making it and so am I. I am in college full time and a single mother, we need money to help with expenses and get me through school at the same time, but I am pretty sure I ruined my credit as a teen and my parents don’t have great credit either, so I have no creditworthy cosigner. Is there any place where I can go to get a loan without a cosigner?

How do you pay for school? If you go to the Financial Aid office in your school, they can help you take out a loan. If you do it through the school, they have to accept you. All students loans through the school are not based on your credit.
This is because if you do not get a loan, then you do not attend. If you do not attend, then they loose money. And so many people use loans these days! Banks are loaning them the money, but when you graduate, you are paying it back (with interest), so it makes up for it.
The good thing about your student loans is that you can take out extra money for help with your expenses. The extra money is disbursed about a month or so into the semester in one big check. But remember, you do have to repay it with interest so do not go too crazy.
