how will i know if the irs will take out money for a default student loan?
ok h and r block said the irs has accepted my tax return. but im still worried that the irs may interfere because of my student loan. i called irs last week and gave them my social. they said i have no outstanding debts. so does this mean ill be getting my refund??
Why don’t you call the IRS and explain what is going on? Then, contact the state (of the schools you attended) student loan authority and tell them the truth — that you have not had the money to pay them back. They should be able to work out a payment schedule for you.
