Make sure I’m adding it right…Tax Rebate?

My husband and I filed our taxes “Married filing Jointly”. His SSN ends in 35. We don’t owe any government debts nor any student loans. Everything we have is caught up. We did direct deposit and paid our filing fees by debit card at the time of filing. So we didn’t enter into any financial agreement with anyone. Our tax liability on form 1040A is $1109. We have 2 children, ages 6 and 2 that DID qualify for the child tax credit. Will my rebate be $1709?

Sounds right, if your calculation of tax liability is before the child tax credit is taken off. If it’s $3109 minus the $2000 CTC, then you might end up with the maximum $1800.
