How do i pay for college?
long story short. i attended a 4 year university for 3 years but transferred to a technical college bc i switched majors.
i have like $20k in student debt and i dont want any more!
i am 1 year from graduating. i made 3 A and 1 B last semester.
last semester i got some financial assistance and my parents paid the balance. this semester i am on my own. i tried to apply for stafford loan but my school failed to certify the funds and now its past deadline so there is a possibility i wont get funding.
its only like $735 plus $200 for my books.
school starts monday!
what do i do? help! i want to continue school!
i dont want to use my credit cards bc for one i dont have that much $$ available and secondly ive worked hard to pay them down to get out of debt .
i did apply for financial aid.
they have my parents income on there until i am 24.
and school told me if even they took my parents off my $11.50 an hour job wouldnt allow me to be eligible for anything else.
why not apply for financial aid? you are most likely to get approved and it will help or will pay for your schooling and books. That is what I did and it is paying for mine with some left over to pay for a new computer.
