Need a student loan of $ 22,000 per year for a school in Canada. What should I look for in a loan?
I am a U.S. citizen moving to Canada in June and attending a small school in Victoria this fall. I need to get a private loan of $ 22,000 per year, for my other 2 years. I do not qualify for any federal loans and a large number of private loans, since it is a small school in Canada. I understand to find low interest rates and things of that nature. Where do I start looking for specific loan, I 'm looking for? I have already completed a FAFSA and are not eligible. Most places I applied online, I can not meet demand because I can only choose schools in the United States to implement them. I can not get a loan by a Canadian bank, since I am a U.S. citizen.
You should be able to get the Stafford Student Loan and your parents — Original —- PLUS loan if the school is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Our family is financing all Canadians to the education of our son by a combination of two loans. Look at the U.S. Federal school codes 2008/2009 "document the finding on the merits YOUR SCHOOL page on the website below (the list of Canadian schools begins on page 139) to see if your school is registered. I also included the vendor's Web site that handles our credit student loans. They have done well by us and they must be good reputation as they partnered with the federal government and the state we live Good luck!
