credit score, student loan?
hi. is it possible for a 20 year old student who is not married or have any kids to get approved for student loan? what if i don’t have any credit score activities and have never worked before or filed for any credit cards like starting fresh! it’s like getting a permanent residents card and applying for student loan! what are the advantages and disadvantades? if i were to be denied of loan then how long do i have to wait till my credit score is enough for me to apply and get the loan? Thanx
If you are eligible for the government backed Stafford loans (eligibility is assessed by filling out the FAFSA form) they are NOT credit-based (they are need-based) and are mostly available to every student unless they and their families are wealthy.
