When does my grace period begin/end for my student loans?
My semester ended at the end of April. For the summer semester I am taking one final course (3 credit hours) and I will be graduating in August. My question is did my grace period begin in May, when I dropped below half time? Or does it begin in August after I graduate?
It begins after final graduation and you have three months before you start repaying. Double check. You can even repay small amounts while in school if you want. There’s no penalty for paying early.
