If McCain is elected and imposes a spending freeze as he’s indicated, what would happen to student loans?
John McCain refuses to address our educational system and the need for an increase in Federal student loans.
My son is a second semester junior (Aeronautical Science, corporate pilot program) and was recently advised that FAFSA is 1 month behind in processing loan applications. Although, he applied last spring for fall semester and has never been refused a partial loan (we pay the rest so he isn’t inundated with student loans upon graduation). He is now seeking private loans but has been repeatedly told that no funds are available even with my husband and I as cosigners with perfect credit and substantial verifiable income. The money just isn’t available due to the economic crisis. He also has perfect credit and works full time, no variance for 4 years, and within Federal guidelines.
Are other college students concerned over McCain’s refusal to address the education issue? Obama has addressed it, why not McCain?
