Are student loans worth it?
I don’t have the grades to get the whole way paved for me and I don’t have any wealthy relatives that I’m aware of. I always hear horror stories about people stuck with student loans their entire lives and I’m wondering if getting a higher level education is worth the risk of debt.
I’m in a lot of debt still, and I left college behind several years ago. The experiences I had, the education I received, and the contacts I’ve kept continue to make the debt worthwhile. I make more money than I would otherwise have made, enjoy my job, and am looking forward to only getting better jobs and making more money. Going to college opened up tons of opportunities that I would not have had otherwise! No regrets.
