she included sons student loan and credit cards to community debt?
A co worker is in the process of divorce. He was telling us today about the asset & debt portion filed and it seems his soon to be ex is trying to include their 2 sons student loans, her own student loan and their sons credit cards as well. They are all still in school at this point. The sons are aged 24 and 25. They are various credit cards like: Chase, Pier One, HSBC etc.
I think that’s crazy! I don’t think he has anything to worry about as they are adults and as for her student loan, he didn’t profit from it in anyway, since she is still attending. What do you think the court will do? I’m just shocked her lawyer allowed her to add these debts.
If he wants to learn how to deal all this have him go to Dads House in Yahoo Groups. There’s an educational manual that will teach him what he needs to know.
