I cosigned a student loan for my stepdaughter. How can I garnish her wages, she is not paying us?
We made arrangements for her to pay half of the loan payment to us and we pay the other half. But she continues to miss paying and we have to pick up her half so my credit doesn’t get banged. What legal action to I have to garnish her wages?
The only recourse YOU have is to sue her. Call your lawyer and hope his fees aren’t more than the amount of the loan + interest.
