Student Loan application form mistake?
Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me.
I filled in the student loan application online yesterday. My father gave his details to support my application but my mother hasn’t at the moment.
I was going through it again and just realized that in my martial status I had ticked on single whereas I should have wrote divorced. I filed for divorce 3 months ago. Me and my ex husband have no contact with eachother whatsoever.
I can not edit anything since i have already submitted it. I have tried ringing them but they do not answer, there is only a recorded message saying you should go online.
I am feeling stressed about this and just wanted some advice on what i should do. Will this affect me in anyway? I know that they will notice this mistake as they check the “Social Security Database” and compare the details. I do not want them to think it was any sort of fraud, its only a general mistake.

If there is no way you can make corrections on the website than when they do check it all they will just send something back saying there was some mistakes and ask you to correct them and probably send some information with proof of your divorce etc… People make mistakes all the time it may delay your application but it will still go through after its all corrected.
