Federal student direct loans balance between the interests overdue?
Does anyone know the interest against outstanding on student loans? Can I pay while I am still at school does make a difference later when I am being Refund? Thank you.
This would only apply to unsubsidized loans, and yes, you can pay the interest while you are at school. You are not required, however. The loan interest would be applied to your account when you do not attend least half-time. It's just a matter of whether you want to pay now or pay later. My advice? If you can afford, then yes, I pay interest while you're at school. This will be the less you have to pay when you are out of school and try to get on your feet.
