What are some of the potential pit falls in a pilots career?

Hey everybody. I’m 22 and looking for a little help with my career plans. My objective is to become a pilot with a major comercial air line. I understand that the typical track is college degree, flight school, flight instructor, regional airline first officer / regional airline captain, major airline first officer / major airline captain. So far I’m at step 1. I just got my degree in Accounting (And…oh…no way I’m doing that for a living). I intend to start flight school soon but its got a price tag of about 50K. With college thats 100K in student loans. Not unheard of, but a little steep without almost guaranteed success. My interest is to learn of the pitfalls that may stop me from gaining employment with a major airline. The pay really seems to get good (100K +) after a few years with a major airline whether your a captain or still a first officer. Any pilots out there? How’d you get there? Or what stopped you? And how long does it usually take to go from a regioal to a major?

oh,well.join the national Gard, get money to go to school ,receive a training and be paid for it,be a” chopper “pilot ,more demand in the private industry, good pay for good qualification’s, airline pilot is becoming more and more like a bus driver, helicopter pilot are in demand by many wealthy people’s and companies, you have more choice’s to pick ,and one day you may purchase your own .you will never purchase a commercial plane.your choice.good luck
