Why does the majority of college students supports Obama instead of Hillary when he promises nothing?
Hillary wants to help struggling college students and she has plans to ease the pain. Example: she wants to lower the interest rates on loans and depending on your occupation pay them off while Obama has no plan.
Well, for one, Obama is younger. People tend to vote for a candidate they identify more closely with.
There’s probably some bandwagon effect. If something becomes “cool”, people follow the trend. Also, Obama is an exciting, engaging speaker. Hillary is solid, but not nearly as exciting.
Policy-wise, Hillary and Obama are nearly identical. Obama is a little more anti-war, and college students tend to be anti-war.
