Does the GOP’s economic recovery plan look like this?
To increase competition with overseas production-eliminate the minimum wage
To further increase competition-eliminate worker benefits and unions
To increase tax revenue-increase interest rates on student loans
To once again give tax reductions to the highest incomes
To reduce government expenditures-privatize education, highways, transportation,all current public health services, police and fire services.
This is the impression I get from postings on Y/A and listening to Republican politicians. Am I close to being correct or totally misinformed.
Bingo! Have you heard any ideas about bringing back or creating any new jobs from that side of the aisle? It’s all about benefitting the people at the top of the dung heap. Nothing about protecting the middle class which actually makes our economy stronger. Hell, they don’t even want them to have affordable healthcare.
