How can you fix a "Double consolidation" on your student loans?

My father had accidentally did something called two "consolidation" on his student loan. Now he has two companies seeking reimbursement on the loan. We contacted both companies, and both say that we should pay the first company and cancel the second building. We did, but my father is still receiving bills from the second company. I do not know if we should just ignore them or should we contact the companies again and see what password. Has anyone advice on what we should do?

Contact the company in writing that sends you the bill. Tell them that the project law they are trying to collect does not exist. Send the letter with a copy of the first paid company. Contact the credit bureau and send them a copy of the letter that you sent the company a copy of the paid on the first billing company.
