What do you think about my ideas on Welfare Reform?
People on welfare should not be giving any money at all.
What good is giving people money that are not responsible to begin with? The Government should setup a network of institutions that would encompass living quarters, cafeteria, daycare, and education all in one building or campus, this should be funded partly by the Government, along with private charity. This would give the welfare recipient a chance to get quality shelter, quality food, quality child care, and quality education. Once they have finished their programs, and got into an establish career, they can move on and enjoy life as a educated, responsible individual. Also, a repayment should be made back to the institution as a sort of student loan,
I don’t agree with government intervention to help people. However if we are going to throw money at the problem lets make sure that it is going to the right places and not up someones nose or in the form on a big screen tv.
