Student loan repayment (living abroad)?
I borrowed 3000 pounds to pay for my tuition fees. I moved to Spain, and I am not definitively going back to work to the UK. What could happen if I dont pay off that money? Does this loan dissapears after a few years?
If you have not paid this loan and you have not been in touch with the bank for a while it will be on your credit record as a default. The loan will never go away and you will have to pay it. There is no limit on the time over which it has to be paid.
You could at this time even have a warrant out for your arrest for fraud or theft or both.Suggest you contact the loan provider right now and explain.
