I reenlisted w/ the Guard for SLRP. However, they’ve failed to uphold their end of the deal. What should I do?

I reenlisted with the Army National Guard for another 6 years for the student loan repayment plan in 2005. By contract, it is regulation that they wait a year before paying on loans accumulated by the student/soldier. This occurred and in 2006 a payment was finally made to my lender. However, I just recently found out from my lender that no payment has been made since then. I am concerned because I do not want to default on my loans. I did contact my education officer and they have no idea what happened. Military personnel are trying to figure out why payments have not been made for almost 2 years. Is this a violation of my contract and should I be speaking to a military attorney?

Indeed you should be talking to a JAG officer.
