What Navy MOS’s are currently giving bonuses?
I know they change often.. I was just curious if anyone knew of any specific jobs that had a bonus attached.
I am also currious about student loan repayment. My recruiter said you have to bring in all your loans and he would send them in and I would either be approved or unapproved for a certain percentage pay off on each loan.
How does that work? The student loan repayment plan is really important to me and I would like to know what they are offering BEFORE I join.
Any info would be great. I’m going Tuesday to join up, I’ve already taken my ASVAB and got a 72, just going to do the physical on Tuesday and hopefully everything will go well then I’ll swear in.

It states that determination (including the amount to be paid) must be made before the employee actually enters on duty in the position for which recruited. I think that means that you should have an answer before you go on active duty. Remember, even though you have gone to MEPS and chosen a job and so on, you are not obligated until you swear in just before going to bootcamp. If they do not grant you payment for the loan during that time that you are on DEP, you are not going to get stuck serving, you can mearly choose not too.

Unfortunatly, the Navy does not allow you to reap the benefits of both of these programs. You either get the Bonus or the Loan Repay. Here is another useful site:
