Is there a statute of limitations of Federal Student Loans?
I have a client that has a disabled son. He only gets Social Security, which is exempt.
The student loan is from 1992, I know there is a statute of limitation of 6 years in Washington, but I am nt sure if it applies to Fredeal Student Loans.
If someone is disabled they can apply for the student loans to be forgiven. Make sure they are still making payments until the loans are forgiven the process can be long, you are dealing with the government after all.
