Can I get a Canadian Student loan, even though I have a car?
My car is worth 15000, I still owe quite a bit on it. I do need it for work (I do respite and residential care work for adults with disabiities).
I want to get a Canadian student loan. I am in Manitoba. I can apply in June, but do you think Id be able to get one despite the fact that I have a car? I heard that if your cars value is more than $5000 they wont approve you for a loan. Is this true??
I did, they wont give me too much information, I was hoping someone had personal experience with this.
