ESL teaching jobs available in the US?
I have a B.A. in Spanish and a 120 hr. TEFL certification with six hours of supervised teaching practice. I would like to teach abroad, but I have student loans. Does anyone know of private schools looking for Spanish teachers or ESL teachers? I do not have any kind of state teaching license. I am in Arkansas, but am willing to relocate nationwide if offered a job. Thank you. P.S. I ahve already looked on eslcafe.com and esljobs.com, but am now trying to focus my search on jobs within the United States, be those in social services, private high schools, etc.
Contact local hospitals and businesses with a large number of employees. They may be willing to negotiate something with you. You may also want to offer spanish classes to these types of establishments as well. Try hospitals first.
