Will my bank cash my student loan check with no hassle?
I need this money before Monday, and every place I’ve been to so far says that they need to call the school’s business office to verify the check. I remember when I deposited my tax return I put in 1000.00 out of 3000.00 and got no fuss about it. My check is ony for 3100.00 WIll my bank cash it or put a hold on the funds? I didn’t know it was going to be so much trouble.
A bank recognizes those Federal checks. Just about anyone will cash them without trouble. Anything else, forget it.
They need to hold it in case it bounces. A government check would never, ever bouce/
