College in America needs proof of $10,000 in order to get I-20 form. Lenders need I-20 to give $10,000?
schools in america require evidence of sufficient funding of around $10,000 in my account at the time of application in order to give me an I-20 form.
unfortunately i do not have anywhere near that amount nor can i get it from family.
ive been looking into getting an international student loan so that i can borrow the $10,000 to show to the school in order to be elegible for the I-20.
a few places have told me im elegible for a loan but in order to apply for the loan I need an I-20.
So its a vicous circle my good yahooligans.
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what i can do?
I appreciate any and all help!
All the best
Kyle
I would suggest that you go to the lender and ask this question.
Our son is studying abroad and needed to show that he had $100.000.00 available for his schooling and we made arrangements with our bank to increase our mortgage to guarantee the finances, should that become necessary.
Have you tried applying for various scholarships?
